Today marked a significant day for us at SWAG as we welcomed our students to the first day of the program. Coming off the heels of our 10-year celebration, we are excited to begin this next chapter with a new generation of sixth graders, along with our returning veteran students. It’s always inspiring to see the growth and progress our students have made, and today was no exception.
As our name proudly states—Students With A Goal—our mission remains strong. Today’s highlight was the player card building workshop, where students had the opportunity to share their current goals and future aspirations with staff, peers, and families. This workshop not only gave them the chance to express themselves but also allowed us to better understand how we can support them on their journeys.
This workshop is just the first step as our students begin following our new motto:
"Purpose Is Within You." We believe that every student has the potential for greatness, and our program is dedicated to helping them find their path, develop new skills, and express their individuality.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families, SWAG Board, and community members for your ongoing support. As we move forward, we are committed to continuing to drive this program and making a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
