Welcoming Attorney Jose Nunez

This evening, I had the pleasure of speaking with students from Akron students With A Goal (SWAG) program about my journey to becoming the man I am today.

As a first-generation American who grew up in tough neighborhoods for most of my childhood, I faced my share of challenges; challenges that many of these students have faced or may face themselves. I’m proud to stand before them as an example of what determination and perseverance can achieve: a first-generation college graduate and a first-generation lawyer.

Thank you to my fraternity brother, Richard Gibson, for inviting me to speak and for his continued commitment to mentoring and guiding these young minds.
