Our Programs
Non-Discrimination Statement
Students With A Goal is committed to providing equal opportunity to all students and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. We value diversity and strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, families, and staff. Our out-of-school time programs are open to all students who meet the program's eligibility criteria, and we provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
Program Guidelines and Expectations
We have established several rules and expectations to guide participants in our program. Students are expected to arrive on time, follow instructions from leaders and staff, avoid the use of cell phones while in session, refrain from bullying and teasing, use respectful language, and respect personal and group property. Eating and drinking is only allowed in designated areas, and all program materials must be returned. To address behavior issues, we use the Encounter, Repair, and Transform method, which involves building trust, gathering information, identifying root causes of problematic behaviors, and tailoring corrective actions unique to each student. We focus on encouraging positive decision-making, implementing corrective action plans, fostering positive relationships, and encouraging students to set and achieve their goals. By investing in these positive behaviors, we enhance academic and personal success in our students.
