SWAG is built on the philosophy that teens need to develop the trust and confidence that success is achievable in life. They need to have someone who has been in their shoes guiding them along the journey.
SWAG staff members come from similar backgrounds as the students we serve; individuals who themselves have been mentored and utilized education to positively change their future landscape.
Staff members coach a team of students tracking grades and daily attendance as well as guiding students in creating and fulfilling biweekly S.M.A.R.T. goals. In addition, staff members are “on call” 24/7 for students needing support outside the program hours.
